“Five-run”
The first team to score a pre-determined number of runs is declared the winner.
Goal:
A game of baseball that subverts one of the game’s core tenants: that a game could go on forever, given a tie at the end of each inning.
Rules:
For this variation, the winner is the first team to score a pre-determined number of runs — regardless of whether the other team gets a chance to take the bat. All other rules of baseball apply, save those that contradict with the above.
